Isn't it only realistic to have Bane hard to understand?

His whole mouth is covered...

Hmm, I just watched it on my laptop and could understand him (in the trailer I mean). Have to see a better copy of the prologue to pass judgement.

Well, we've seen two trailers and a prologue and here's my thoughts so far:

Visually, the film looks great. Dialogue-wise, it's awful. If what we've heard so far is any indication of the script, this could be one of the most unintentionally laughable dramas of 2012.

It doesn't sound any different to the previous films so unless you consider those laughable with awful dialogue, I clearly don't get what you mean.

True enough. I couldn't believe some of the shit coming out of Catwoman's mouth. Can't Nolan have any of them speak like actual human beings anymore?

Okay fine. The Hines Ward football scene looked fake and super cheesy. Ann Hathaway as Catwoman brought back memories of Batman Returns and in a "Michelle was so much better than Ann, I miss her" kind of way.

The Batwing looked like something out of Avatar... the singing of the national anthem was eye rolling... the only bright spots were Bale and Caine. Still love them. Bane looks pretty badass too. And Marion looked delicious. Everything else was lame. Overall, I thought it sucked.

Any guesses on where Bruce is when he ask's "What are they saying"? I can't quite figure out where he (and I guess Alfred) are. Plus, there's all those steps in the background.

It's based off of the Tumbler design, although it does remind me of the dropship from Aliens, which is a plus in my opinion.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I'm guessing that the shot of Bane holding half of Batman's mask comes before the shot of Bane talking to Bruce in what looks like a jail cell. The brief glimpse of Bane's face close-up in the teaser clearly comes from the same scene in the trailer of him looking at Bruce with a large bloody wound on his head. Maybe that's the impact hit that cracked the mask.

It's not hurtful but he is seemingly provoking me for no reason and seems like he is trying to start shit. It's pretty obvious.

Yep, he has a cameo.

That's really stupid and I'm not just saying that since I absolutely hate the Steelers and everything and anything associated with them (though I don't hate coach Mike Tomlin for some odd reason). I wouldn't have a problem with it if he was just a nameless character or named something else but to specifically show "Ward" on it are we supposed to believe that he's up and left the NFL for whatever rival football league involves Gotham City?

I realize I'm probably making too big a deal out of it but not a fan of that.

The trailer itself looks cool Bane isn't the easiest to understand but I was able to make out his lines ok, not so much in the leaked prologue though. Hopefully his dialog is clear in the actual film of this will be one I'll need subtitles for.

Trailer seems a little off... I don't think it's particularly great. But still holding out hope that the movie turns out well.

Because apparently mentioning your name is "provoking" you, when you did the exact same shit to me. There is an ignore button, you know.

I pretty much agreed with you on the storylines/titles you mentioned however - I'm not a fan of The Long Halloween or Dark Victory. Between the two, I enjoyed Long Halloween more. I love Sale but whenever I re-read Loeb's work, it just doesn't hold up.

The problem with Loeb's work is that he basically writes the same story every time. The Long Halloween is brilliant, but he has rewritten it so often that it takes the shine off of it.
