Well, this is certainly getting some incredible buzz. Roeper and Michael Phillips gushed over it this past review weekend.

I simply am amazed that Pixar keeps doing it. Just amazing that every idea comes to fruition and they excel in this medium beyond all others in both story, character development, and visuals.

I never look forward to animated movies, but i am looking forward to this one.

Yeah, Pixar is in a league all their own. Even though I didn't love the stories and characters in Cars and Ratatouille as much as previous Pixar movies, I still was blown away by the animation. Ratatouille, especially, is just beautiful.

I think the Wall-E story will appeal to me more and I've heard they've once again outdone themselves with the animation. I can't wait to see for myself!

Other than Toy Story and Finding Nemo I'm not big on Pixar, but the robot looks so damn cute I can't wait to see it.

looking forward to this, but I really wish they'd make more Incredibles movies.

I didn't care for the Incredibles but A Bug's Life is the shiznit.

I was an Antz man myself; loved Incredibles, looking forward to Wall-E.

I'm surprised a pre-mature revival of the Rank the Pixar movies hasn't been recreated by now. People are slacking.

Am I the only person who sees an uncanny resemblence between the "star" of this movie and "Number 5" of Short Circuit fame?

That's been discussed in excess for the past months all over the internet, so no, you are not alone. And I dunno, while they do look a little alike, the more I see them side-by-side, the less I think they resemble one another. Although, I don't doubt that Number Five influenced them to a degree in this movie, as they are pretty similar in basic design, and also both develop personalities.

In any case, I cannot say enough how impressed I am with Pixar and have been over the years. In preparation for WALL-E, I've been revisiting all my Pixar DVDs, and they are still just as good. Pixar is in another league when it comes to stories and animation; their movies are incredibly well crafted, visually beautiful, and have fantastic stories and characters. I see no reason to expect any different from WALL-E.

I'll probably end up seeing this more than once, as I am anticipating stunning visuals that are only enhanced by the big screen.

Quote: I don't keep up with the show much these days, but has there been a title they reviewed early that they didn't enjoy?
well, if the movie was reviewed early, it's probably because the studio had full confidence that they have a good movie on their hands. just a thought.

One of the reviewers on AICN said that all of the stuff in the previews comes from the first third of the movie. Obviously there won't be any proof until Friday but if this is true this is amazing and it grabs at my sense of wonder at what could be achieved here.

not tracking so far on RT, but 3/3 fresh. surprised this wasn't screened early. is that the norm for Pixar?

My first thought when seeing an ad for this was "how unoriginal". It bugs me even though I was never a Short Circuit fan. If the movie ends up being worth checking out I'm sure I'll rent it one day.

Taking my little sister to Manhattan to see this. Is it gonna be playing on IMAX? Or are there any digital screens in NYC to go see it on?

I fell the opposite. I've loved every Pixar movie so far, but Wall-E looks too silly. I'll check it out of course but really hope it's MUCH more than a lonely robot love story

I saw a preview screening of the film last night and it was absolutely amazing. I thought it was easily the best pixar movie and an instant classic. It will be one of those movies that get watched generations from now.

5 for 5 on rottentomatoes right now.

RT has it at 83%. One guy didn't like... said it dragged partly due to not having dialogue during the first part of the movie. What a tool.

I know everyone has an opinion but sometimes I think a "critic" will do this just for attention.

That same guy gave a positive review to "The Happening".

I can't believe this is coming out in 2 days. Perhaps, I'm just watching the wrong shows but I have seen hardly any ads and had no idea it was coming out. This will probably be the first Pixar movie I sit out and wait for the DVD.

This will be the 1st Pixar movie I go to the theaters for.

All the stuff? I thought the first third was

Spoiler:
Wall-E on earth alone, the second act was Wall-E meeting EVE, and the third act was in space. The quick shot in the trailer of Wall-E and EVE flying around the igniting rocket motors looks like the kind of thing that would be in a big finale.
