I thought the trailer looked was pretty damn good... Im in the minority due to the fact that I loathe Gambit, but really excited about Deadpool and think they nailed the casting with everyone.

Yeah, but there's a big difference between doing that for a scene or two and doing it for the entire movie.

Yeah, I was go glad they kept Gambit out of the X-Men series as I think he's impossibly lame and marks the time I stopped reading the comics. I sighed when I saw he was in this one but it's still a pretty good trailer, I'll check this one out for sure.

And the White Queen does? Her powers changed from being a telepath to turning into a diamond?

Emma Frost is a mutant psion capable of accessing enormous[55][56][57] telepathic abilities. Later, she gained a "secondary mutation" which allows her to transform to an organic diamond form with enhanced strength and durability at the cost of her telepathy.
I didn't know that either.

So not in continuity with the movie. Not that the Dazzler would be either.

You can go here to download the 1080p trailer for the PS3.

..and under further investigation, yep, the trailer still kicks ass.

I don't know but Danny Huston looks absolutely nothing like Brian Cox

The latest trailer didn't do a whole lot for me but I never have really understood the fascination with the character.
I would rather see a Cyclops movie.

I don't follow the comics so..

Does Deadpool tie into the X-Men world in the Comics or is he his own lil standalone badass who's getting grouped into this movie in hopes of getting the character his own standalone movie?

I can see that. It would end at about the fifteen minute mark after the third time he was knocked unconscious. Hey, they can make it a short.

So do I and yet I have to admit that the trailer, unlike the comics, actually makes him seem cool.

But we really need to see more of Deadpool (and in full costume).

88 minutes of whining and two minutes of looking for his glasses? Sounds grand.

I've never been the world's biggest fan of Wolverine, but at least he can rip shit up, which is all I basically want out of any of these movies.

He does, he first appeared in New Mutants and then X-Force.He was originally part of Weapon X, the same program that created Wolverine.

Deadpool interacts in the X-men world occasionally, but I am sure this is more of a move to get Ryan Reynolds his own franchise.

Deadpool was?

I thought weapon X = Sabertooth, Omega Red, Maverrick, Wolverine and Silver Fox.

Didn't know Deadpool was in it.

Silver fox does not turn into diamonds (I didn't think she could). I think it might be the white queen.

Silverfox is the other girl they show throughout the trailer. Emma Frost is definitely the blonde that changes into ice/diamond.

So is it Kurt in the block of ice as a child? Can't think of another mutant that has one blue and one green eye off the top of my head. And is it assumed that the other little girl is Ororo?
