If I didn't know any better, I would think this was yet another shitty Uwe Boll video game to movie adaptation. It looks absolutely horrible.

If it weren't for Duncan Jones, I'd have ZERO interest in this. This looks utterly derivative and absolutely terrible. And I spent too many years playing that ridiculous time-sink.

Meh, looks whatever-ish.
The Hobbit CGI stuff buries this, though. This wasn't a great trailer either. Some of the skin textures on the Orcs looks cool but a lot of it looks generic. We'll see how it goes.
Technically, Jones has only done one great film and that was Moon. Source Code is mediocre.

I only got into WoW cuz of my friends. They loved Warcraft and MMOs. WoW was my entry into both. Unforunately... my area STILL only received Dial-up, this was 2005. That's what I get for living on a Ranch in Conroe, Tx. I didn't last long.

Ouch, harsh response here. No more betas for any of you! Seems mixed online, it's funny how I see some people say the CGI looks good and others say it looks horrible. The only really bad shot to me is the baby orc though, that one looks really bad.

Was hoping this would be good, but from the trailer it looks like a miss. Hopefully there is dramatic improvements in the CGI by the time it comes out.

The CGI is fine... but not in the context for a film. Good CGI should mesh w/ the physical world. This doesn't yet. It looks alright. It's not horrible. It's nowhere near great yet. It has promise but some of the designs in there too look iffy. Not in quality of the cgi but just the decision for the visual of them.

CG looks fine to me for what it is but as others have said, if it weren't for Jones being attached, I wouldn't give a shit at all.

So it's basically Avatar with less budget, but with green, more muscular Na'vi. Eh.

just kidding, i just want future betas
The baby orc was terrible; looked like something from Sherk. I'll still watch the movie. The alliance armor looked awesome; straight out of the games.

Bloodrayne had at least one plus with Kristanna Loken nudity. Warcraft won't have nudity. That automatically makes Bloodrayne the better movie.

I think the trailer for the new expansion looks better. It's entirely cgi, like they all are. Wonder why they chose to use live action people in the movie.

Cuz a live action movie has the chance of being bigger than a CGI movie when it comes to the property?
It's not hard to see why anyone would want a live action movie to this thing.

Not feeling it... still have some interest for Jones but... just not feeling for it for this one.

Because if it were a CGI feature it would be considered an "animated feature" and you'll probably not see a major studio do another dramatic animated feature since they all died at the box office about ten years back. Its a shame, -you can do almost any story you want with CGI animation, but its limited (in the US, at least) to cartoons for children (with a few bits for the adults).
