"Paper Planes" by M.I.A.

It samples The Clash's "Straight To Hell".

I'm going to hold off until it gets a review. It's an Apatow film so it's got to be funny.

Red band trailer looked hilarious. This is one upcoming flick that will get me to take my bong out of storage for sure. I don't know how I couldn't see this stoned. Glad to see Franco is a good lead role for once.

Agreed. While I liked the trailer as a whole, this was really the only laugh out loud moment for me. (Granted, though, not many trailer moments bring about more than a chuckle from me . . . so this is a compliment)

God's vagina!

Looks like if Half-Baked was written by Shane Black, and that's a great thing. Hopefully this ends up being Superbad/Knocked Up/40 Year Old Virgin caliber.

So rarely does one phrase perfectly encapsulate the spirit of a trailer, that it bears repeating. So apt, ZP.

Higher quality red-band trailer.

Zen Peckinpah said it better, but I was gonna say it looks like Harold and Kumar meets Judgment Night.

Warner Bros. is distributing Snow Angels.

This movie actually does looks fantastic. The direction is well-shot (gotta brush up on DGG). The lines look great. And that song is fantastic; "Straight to Hell" is my favorite Clash song too.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this one end up on my year-end top 10 like Superbad and Knocked Up did.

And I still stand by my comparison to a Shane Black-penned Half Baked. You could also say it's like if Joel Silver produced The Big Lebowski.

We saw a screening last week. The movie is really funny and has a good amount of action as well.

agreed. The first 2/3 are a mostly funny stoner movie, followed by a funny-dumb action movie for the last 1/3. I think it will do fairly well at the box office, and I would not have been mad if I paid for it

Just saw it tonight as well. If anyone has any specific questions, feel free to ask.

BTW, I didn't like it as much as Superbad (which I consider an elite comedy) or Knocked Up or 40YOV, but it was very funny, and I generally like comedies much more on repeated viewings.
