I read somewhere online that she was Baxter Stockman's assistant or something...maybe that was for another cartoon.

Van Helsing had an animated "prequel" to the film.

While not official sequels, the Hellboy animated DVDs feature most of the same actors as the live-action film for the voice work. edit: just noticed the OP discounted these

Supposably the new ghostbusters game is being written by the original 3 writers and will star all the main characters and is going to be ghostbuster 3 since its stuck in development hell.

So? that doesn't make TMNT a sequel of the movies in any fashion.

The Matrix was on film, but the sequels seemed to be shot on garbage.
