Do you think Michael Moore is full of it, or do you support him?

I loved his TV work and enjoy his films for a single viewing. The thing I really like about him, though, is his sense of humor. Canadian Bacon aside, I think Moore could have been a tremendous success as a comedic writer and/or actor, but chose social commentary because he is sincerely passionate about it and truly wants to change the country for the better.
No surprise, though, that the ones who truly despise him are the ones that believe that any criticism leveled at America is unpatriotic and treasonous. Also, they'll willingly acknowledge, and ACCEPT, bias in Fox News, yet bitch about Moore slanting his own work in the way he chooses. Lame.

I loved Canadian Bacon. I was 14, but still.

If we stop supporting him, he will crash through the Earth's crust, releasing the superhot liquid core to kill us all. [/mandatory quip about MM's weight]

If you take two seconds to see what the guy's about, his website, everything, it's clear that this guy really cares about people. Last I checked he never went after anyone who didn't deserve it.

That is funny...

He makes movies that are works of fiction not documentaries. AND this will be an endless pointless debate.

I always find it easier to get through these threads if I imagine that each poster has added "I believe..." or "I think..." to the beginning of their posts, otherwise, yes, everything will sound like they are posting facts and not just their opinions.
Plus, I haven't seen you back up your opinions yet. From the first page:

The guy has to right to say and think what he wants, it is his opinion, right? That being said, how can someone's opinion be construed as fact when presented in his "documentaries"?

Who the fuck puts Booya! at the end of their post, unless you wanted to shove it in my face that you just provided the backup to your opinion. That was my point.

It wasn't that I didn't believe, it was that you were being a hypocrite. And what "game" exactly do you think we are "playing"?
