I hope so, he's gotta regain his hobbitness to make these movies right!

FWIW, I'm so glad that things worked out the way they did. I'm glad that PJ is directing, and that they're filming in NZ, and that all the actors are coming back who are supposed to. With all the complications and hiccups there have been so far, it's nice to see some progress!

The Hobbit EE? Isn't it already being extended into two films?

Re: The Hobbit

Those shots remind me of how much I love the LOTR Trilogy and how long it's been since I watched them. Elijah Wood was on Fallon last night and said "The last film came out in 2003." It seemed shocking that it's been that long. Can't wait until next Christmas!

Fallon "So, what are you going to be doing in the movie?"
Wood "I'm playing Frodo, Jimmy."

I meant no offense, god sir, it's a common saying 'round these parts. I didn't want people to not see the Gandalf picture. It was too important. Better even, in my opinion, than the first Bilbo/Dwarves one.

JED BROPHY as Nori, ADAM BROWN as Ori and MARK HADLOW as Dori in New Line Cinema’s and MGM's fantasy adventure THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY, a Warner Bros. Pictures release. Photo by James Fisher.

DORI, NORI & ORI
These three brothers, all sons of the same mother, could not be more different from each other. Dori, the oldest, spends much of his time watching out for Ori, the youngest; making sure he’s not caught a chill or got himself killed by Wargs or Goblins. Nobody quite knows what Nori gets up to most of the time, except that it’s guaranteed to be dodgy and quite probably, illegal. Dori, Nori and Ori are intensely loyal to each other – and whilst they are perfectly happy fighting amongst themselves, woe-betide anyone who means harm to one of these brothers.

Re: The Hobbit

....Something about that pic screams CG...maybe it's the sheen from the light coming off there costumes. Just looks weird. Regardless of how weird it looks to me...pretty good looking stuff there.

I think it's just bad photoshopping -- the guy who put the picture together did a horrible job matching the lighting between the characters and background.

Those are real people? Never in my wildest dreams did I think those were real people. They totally look CG to me.

Re: The Hobbit

Can I be the first person on the entire Internet to come out and say that this picture doesn't look very good? I've been seeing tons of praise heaped on this, but I just don't see it. They'll probably look better in a more natural setting, but this looks really, really fake.
