The worst movie of all time and easily the worst I've ever seen has got to be Gus Van Zant's "Last Days" - just an over-indulgent piece of shit and boring as fuck with no substance at all.

I haven't seen Last Days but I did sit through Gerry...I'm pretty sure I can endure anything now.

Call me blasphemous... but Trainspotting and The Conversation are the worst two films I've seen that are critically-acclaimed and considered "classics."

On a more broad scope... Timeline (the adaptation of the Crichton book) and Monster-in-Law (the chick flick) are two of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I agree. I had to turn the subtitles on to even understand what they were saying. And once I saw what they were saying, I turned them off again.

IN MY OPINION anyone who puts the LOTR trilogy on a list of worst movies ever made is just trolling. Fine if you don't like them, but worst ever?!?

^^^ Forrest Gump? really? I mean maybe it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s very far from the top worst movies ever. I personally loved the film.

I’m not a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies either but they are also far from being the top worst movies ever. Of course everyone has the right to their own opinions.

Dynamite Warrior: 2006 Thai action movie from the producers of Ong Bak and The Protector.

I rented this of Net Flix and only managed to make it through 30 minutes. I knew I was in for a treat when the hero was riding a rocket bomb like it was a surf board.

Is that bad?

I was thinking of renting it since I found the fighting and stunt scenes memorables in Ong Bak, Tom Yum Goong and Born To Fight. I think I resigned myself into not expecting too much in regards to plot and acting when it comes to films produced by Prachya Pinkaew.

Yeah I don't get that either. I see Gump show up on a lot of "worst of" lists and for the life of me I can't understand it.

Like you said, it may not be everyone's favorite but to call it one of the worst movies ever made is ridiculous. I mean there's Little Man, Jaws 3 and 4, Son of the Mask, Showgirls, Gigli, Wicker Man, Battlefield Earth.

I have to believe that the people who put Gump on a "worst" list simply don't like the movie for whatever reason be it politics or because of Tom Hanks or because they don't like the character or whatever. I have a hard time believing anybody truly believes Forrest Gump is really as bad as movies like Jaws 4 or Little Nicky.

Has anybody ever seen a movie called Shakma? It's about a pissed off baboon running amok killing college kids who are playing a big game of Dungeons and Dragons inside of a locked lab. How can anybody honestly believe that Forrest Gump is the worst movie ever made when there's a movie like that floating around?

For the record I actually own Shakma, but I own Gump too.

come on now. There are farrrrr worse movies than the many most of you have listed. Forrest Gump, the matrix Sequels, Armageddon. Spiderman 3, Anchorman, Oceans 12, Rambo 3 ?? Youre telling me these are THE WORST movies ever made???
Have any of you ever seen Cool As Ice ????
There is a big difference between your most hated movies and the worst movies EVER made. my most hated movie is probably 8 Mile, but I know there are many, many worse movies out there.

It IS awesome. Awesomely bad, but the attack scenes actually are cool. The dude from Blue Lagoon is in it and so is Roddy McDowell.

There's a real baboon in it so it isn't just a puppet or anything like like that and honest to God when the thing attacks it just go absolutely crazy. There isn't enough money in the world to get me to film a scene with one of those things. The human actors are laughable at best however. I'll have to admit that it sure seemed Oscar worthy at 3 am after getting back from the bar.

It does come out on dvd on October 16 I believe. I just have an old VHS copy.

I will have to buy it just out of curiosity now. I have no doubt it is just as awful as you say, but after hearing what it's about, I just have to see it.
