I liked it a lot. And what was the Bourne gag?

Loved it. I had a blast watching the entire thing. Definitely the best 3rd installment this year so far. For me anyway.

Some decent laughs. Liked it a whole lot better than 12, but not as much as 11. Never saw the first 10 though. They make it look so easy to swindle millions of dollars.

I loved the David Paymer bits, especially the payoff.

Ellen Barkin was completely wasted, her scene with Matt Damon was embarassing to watch.

Biggest audience reaction came when Clooney tells Pitt he should "have some kids".

I'll echo everyone else: I liked it. Might be the best "3" this year or until Bourne 3.

I'll recongize its flaws, maybe its a vanity project, but it was fun, and sometimes fun over-rules such flaws.

This was the anti-12. Where 12 layered on sub-plot after sub-plot and twist on top of twist, this was just a straight out heist. I'd call it a B-. This was very close to what the original had to offer. Not much substance just great chemistry

That's all any of these films are.....simple exercises to allow Clooney and Pitt to preen for the camera. I saw the first and found it pointless. Never saw the need to go see anymore.

Everything about the scene where Linus was tracking down Greco seemed to be a spoof on the Bourne movies.

The color scheme, the camera work, and "I even think I'm being followed" line.


Am I the only one who thought 12 wasn't a heist movie but a con movie?

Saw this one and enjoyed it. Never really dislike any of the 3. To me each had their ups and downs but good entertainment.

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this last night. Clever scenes like this made me walk out of the theater with a smile on my face. For all that it lacked, 13 was a very satisfying movie.

Man, you guys are harsh. I saw it with three of my buddies and we absolutely loved it. It was hilarious, tongue-in-cheek and very very cool.

The Godfather quotes, I particularly loved.

"I heard cars coming and going in the driveway... there are hushed voices downstairs... and Linus is in the next room crying.... Why don't you tell me what everyone else seems to know?"

And I had tears in my eyes and a pain in my gut from laughing at all of the "vive la revolution'!" stuff going on in South America with the brothers. Casey Affleck's whole monologue in the bar was great, but when they sent Scott Caahn down there after him, and it cuts to him lighting the molotov cocktail, I just fuckin' lost it.

I LOVED this movie. It was a very nice palet clenser after Spider-Man 3.

Exact same thing that happened to me. My wife was telling me "it wasn't THAT funny" but I couldn't help myself. I might just go see it again, it was that enjoyable for me.

As for the actors "playing themselves", I never understood this statement. Do the people saying this know them personally? Because I don't. And I think part of the fun of watching the movie is getting to see these many known actors play off of each other.

Funny in-theater story. During Brad Pitt's first appearance on screen, as soon as he takes off the ski mask, this one girl exclaimed "Oh my God!" so loudly for everyone to hear. It was so funny.

Just got back and I really had fun. I think the pace coulda been picked up but other than that it was cool. I liked that I had to pay attention to keep track of scams.

I thought Ellen Barkin was great. In fact, although her role seemed smaller in this film I liked her more than Julia Roberts and Caty Z Jones in the previous movies. I also liked the return of characters from O12.

I'll go so far as to say that, of the three, 12 is by far the superior film. It's the only one that really tried to do something inventive and daring with the medium, and it succeeded. 11 was a great heist film, while 13 was a conventional, yet enjoyable heist film.

Add me to the group that loved 12. Simply one of the most enjoyable (and one of my most watched) movies in years - which made 13 all the more disappointing. It is just so simplistic and didn't have any of the great (practically sublime) character moments of 12. And though all the movies have plot holes and are unrealistic, 13 just gave me no reason to overlook its faults. Because I wasn't absorbed in the plot or characters, many aspects of the film just stuck out as being very poorly conceived.

No urgency, no character development, no wit, and not much fun - this film was almost the antithesis of Ocean's 12. The film asks very little of the audience and pays them back accordingly. By far the worst of the 3.

And on top of everything else, David Holmes' score was, to me, subpar. Especially compared to some of his other work (I love both his movie and non movie work), this seemed repetitive and derivative. Again, another aspect where 12 blows away this installment. Holmes' work on 12 along with the other tracks (not sure if he or Soderbergh chose them) made for a great and perfectly utilized soundtrack.

I think I may have chuckled twice but, at the end of the day, it was a pretty ordinary film. There are worse ways to kill some time though, I suppose.

Seen it the other day and didnt really care for it. Its not a horrible flick just wasnt very funny or exciting like the other 2. I loved the first one and the second was still a fun movie. This one just didnt work for me. I actually was drifting off towards the end. This one felt more like a tv show then a actual movie. the subplot with the guy whos suppose to be judging the place for the 5 star diamond award all that stuff felt like it was from a tv show.

The hiest here wasnt exciting, didnt really do a good job of showing people winning and the casino loosing all the money. This one didnt work for me, not horrible but not worth seeing in the theater I would give it a C

12 lost all legitimacy with the Julia Roberts joke. That's so cheap and desperate (and stupid I might add), I was disgusted that made it into the theatrical cut. From then on, I just kept looking at my watch praying for the thing to be over.

13 was solid considering its the second sequel of a remake, I don't see them duplicating the cleverness of 11 again but I'd gladly go see "Oceans 14."

Another Roberts related thing that bothered me was that I never liked Roberts as Clooney's wife. Then they added Cathy Z in "12", who had awesome chemistry with him in "Intolerable Cruelty", and that made things worse. Plus, I never bought her character hooking up with Pitt's.

Yes. The more thought I give to it, the more I realize that Ocean's 13 was just not a very good movie (although the cinematography by "Peter Andrews" was excellent.)
