A LOT of good stuff coming up here.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is my favorite comedy of all time. It isn't often a movie can make you laugh your ass off and give you a really nice smile at the same time.

The Girl Next Door is CRIMINALLY underrated. Same with Quick Change..."You're becoming Ralph Kramden's evil twin!"

Some stuff not mentioned yet (I think)...

After Hours (one of my favorite Scorsese movies, a dark as hell "how much shit can happen to the same person" odyssey. Highly, HIGHLY recommended)

Used Cars (great un-PC effort from Robert Zemeckis with Kurt Russell...DD has it for $6.98 right now)

The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (a very guilty pleasure)

Slacker (Richard Linklater's debut, the inspiration for Clerks)

The Kentucky Fried Movie (ZAZ's debut film, very hit and miss, but when the good parts come they're brilliant)

The Wicker Man (2006)...wait, this is supposed to be actual comedies, right?

I love Mystery Men and think it just came out at the wrong time. If it would have come out after this glut of superhero movies, it would have done better. Stiller also is a bigger star now. It does go on a little long but it is fantastic.

I second Midnight Run. "You'll be suffering from Fist-o-phobia if you don't shut up."

The only good reason to see this movie is Schwatrzman. He is really great in it...but overall the movie sucks ass.

Worth seeing for two scenes only.....Jason working as a volunteer worker in a hospital and giving an elderly prostitute a tit wash and the final credits where Jason sings a song with the work cocksucker in it. Those were the only two scenes that made me laugh.

I love that movie too, and I'm not a Jim Carrey guy. I really wish Stiller would get back behind the camera and stay out of the front.

Cable Guy and Election make a great Broderick comedy collection.

Yeah, loathed the 20 minutes of Reality Bites I could actually stomach, but I love The Cable Guy.

Grandma's Boy is very dumb but it is still pretty funny just because they were clearly allowed to do whatever the hell they wanted.

Wet Hot American Summer is awesome.

Bowfinger - one of my all time favourites
the Girl Next Door - exceptional 'teen' comedy
Accepted - one of the better college movies in a long time
Kentucky Fried Movie - brilliant zaz movie - 'catholic high school girls in trouble' is worth the rental alone
The Cable Guy - Stiller made a dynamite movie here that was ahead of it's time
The Guru - very funny dirty romp
The Jerk - might not be underrated with it's generation, but I have to force this on friends all the time...and then they love it
Zoolander - not sure if it's underrated either, but one of my all time most quoted movies
Big Fat Liar - yeah it's a kids movie, but it's damn funny
She's the Man - better than it should have been, quite funny
Baseketball - very funny sports movie that south park fans should dig

Although it's not quite as good, Amazon Women on the Moon makes a nice companion piece to Kentucky Fried Movie.
