And I remember the character Toad was listed as either killed or MIA in Vietnam. That was shocking at the time, given that he was the most likeable character in the movie.
(Then in the sequel, he was shown as basically faking his death and "really" going AWOL instead as he deserted and escaped Vietnam on his own.)

Cause I just watched it: Glory Road... I also liked the interviews with the real people that ran during the credits.
Band of Brothers was mentioned, so since we're including HBO TV series (and I do consider Band of Brothers more of a film than a TV series)... I'll include the epilogue to the final episode of Six Feet Under!

I could have sworn that Stand By Me had this list, though it may have been an oral account of what happened and not a written list.
Good list! (and Stand By Me isn't listed... hmm...)

Currently not on that imdb list: The Right Stuff; the where-are-they-now epilogue is spoken narration by Levon Helm, who also played Chuck Yeager's buddy, Jack Ridley (Yeager would ask Ridley, "Got any Beemans?").
