I like them for the action scenes and not using CGI and using real car chases and real stunts.

Ludlum wrote the book. Gilroy wrote the movie. I'm fine with how they handle it.

Let's see more Bourne films. The Bourne Supremacy was great. Lots thought it got lost in its own twists, and I can understand that, but I still think it's brilliant.

Come on Bourne Supremacy had a trite screenplay that was so loosely adapted that it did complete disservice to Ludlum and the characters he created. The one thing it did have going for it was it didnt rely on special effects. Damon plays the Jason Bourne character well, and the throwback to 60-70s style thrillers is refreshin, but the creative team developing it in both story and visual composition is absolutely horrid. Its so backwards to adapt a novel by tossing out 90% of the novel and keeping a few names and plot lines that tie it to The Bourne Identity and then replace the good stuff you ripped out with complete garbage. Ludlum is rolling over in his fucking grave.

I agree, I thought it was really well done.

I only read "The Bourne Identity," but I vastly preferred the movie version. I never read "Supremacy" but I can't believe that opinion is going to change, so I say bring on more Bourne.

No offense, but I could give a rats arse how it compared to the book.

The books were good. The movies were good. Amazingly, both are possible.

Loved both of the first two movies, and if they can make this a franchise without turning it into a Bond-style joke (well, as its become recently anyways) I'm all for it.

A franchise? I don't know. I mean how far can they take this storyline without repeating themselves at some point? You know he'll kick ass. You know the CIA will be involved.

It's almost like watching Jack Bauer in 24 every season.

I liked the books. Maybe they can bring in a Jackal type character, or the Jackal character himself for Bourne. The cat and mouse Jackal/Bourne feud from the books was amazing and could translate to some good movies IMO.

Me neither. Bourne Identity was great, Supremacy was just as good.

Bring it on.

Eh I'm not supporting what they did to the Bond series either (there hasnt been a good bond film since the connery era really either, back when they were still based on the novels) but the cat is out of the bag there. They should have at least done Ludlum the courtesy of using a different titles of novels of which they are making no effort in being faithfull.

Ugh, the second one was barely watchable. At least the Bond films have that "coolness" factor. Well, they did with Brosnan anyway.

I quit comparing movies to novels years ago. As long as they can keep Damon on board and continue to use good directors - sounds good to me.

If it came down to it, I would be in line for Ultimatum before Casino Royale.

Don't know if it's true, but I've read rumors EON is ditching the old Bond formula/style and that Casino Royale will be similar to the style of the Bourne films. Just have to wait and see.

The less Nausea-Cam, the better.

But I'm familiar with Damon in his role and EON ditched a Bond I liked. I'll still see Bond, I'm just not thrilled about it.

I guess since they don't follow the books anyway, they can keep on going, but would Damon really want to play the part for seven or so movies?

The Bourne Psychology?
The Bourne Biology?
The Bourne Transparency?
The Bourne Nobility?
The Bourne Idiosyncrasy?
The Bourne Bovinity Divinity?
Bourne, Actually?

Matt Damon usually does a pretty good job of picking his roles. If the franchise runs stale I'm sure Damon will call it quits.

The first film was good, the second was above average and both were refreshing to see. I'm all for more Bourne films (although stopping at three would be just fine with me as well)

Yep, that's my only complaint with the film.

I would watch more Bourne movies, no problem. More Stiles would be nice, as well.

Love, love, love the Bourne movies. I'm down for as many as they'll throw out there, as long as Damon stays on as Bourne.

Some of the best action movies I've seen come out recently.
