Killing Zoe?

Hey, I just saw the trailer for Smokin' Aces and thought it pretty interesting, and decided to search for any information about it and came across this review :
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31132. Now usually I just read dvdtalk's forums and review sections to find out about movies so I don't know if the person reviewing this movie is a idiot or not, But when he said " For anyone who keeps Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, True Romance, Snatch, Boondock Saints, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Domino and Killing Zoe all on the same shelf because, well, that’s how God intended it, this f*cking movie is for you" I immediately made a note to catch Smokin' Aces the weekend it comes out. But at the time I now have a interest in looking up what this Killing Zoe movie is.
I own every movie on that list he made, and love them all So do you think I would like killing zoe?
Any information on the movie would be appreciated
Thanks

Killing Zoe was a favorite of mine and my room-mates in college. It stars Eric Stoltz as an American safe cracker of goes to paris to rob a bank with a bunch of psychotic drug crazed frenchman.

The plot of the movie itself doesn't have much substance at all, and the film suffers from a very slow first half, but all of this is redeemed with the film's climatic finish.

I won't give too much away here but lets just say
Spoiler:
the leader of the french gang goes alittle Mr. Blonde and the heist goes sour and very bloody

Also one reason (in addition to tone) that this movie is grouped with those other films you mentioned is because it is directed by sometimes Tarantino collaborator Roger Avary.

I think the film is alot of fun and usually available at Borders and Best Buy for about $12 or so.

Is Killing Zoe actually about, well, killing Zoe? Should I steer all friends named Zoe away from this movie?

Zoe is an Angel and the head bank robber is the Devil.

Killing Zoe is a great movie. IMHO Domino does not belong on that list. Replace it with Shallow Grave.

Killing Zoe is pretty great film actually. It's definitely in line with those other films.

And if you like that, I recommend The Rules of Attraction as well, it's also directed by Avary.
