Will Ferrell is very hit or miss for me, Taladega Nights was awful. Never been too impressed with Heder, but haven't seem much of him to be fair.
I went into Blades of Glory (free ticket from Best Buy) expecting to be mildly amused but disappointed. It was much better than I thought. The strong supporting cast (Fischer and Arnett) and fun cameos really helped. Not a must see, but definitely worth a matinee price.
It was #1 at the box office yesterday, but I wonder how much of that was the free tickets.
I'll probably pick up the DVD when it hits the $5.50 bin.

I thought it had enough laughs to warrant a matinee viewing. There are a few big laughs (at stuff you shouldn't be laughing at, but nonetheless...), but the characters are a little too broad and shallow to really care for this unlikely team-up for a male-male pairs skating team.
I give it 2.5 stars or a grade of C+.

I liked it. It was typical Will stealing the show and it had me laughing.
You guys can get all worked up over that Fischer girl but she did absolutely nothing for me. It was Amy Peohler who looked smokin' hot in this flick.

When the coach showed them that film from North Korea* we(me and the audience I saw it with) fell out laughing.

Caught this yesterday. Very funny film. Probably as good as Talladega Nights but no where near Anchorman. Arnet did a great job, a nice suprise from the awful Let's go to Prison. Jenna looked soooo goddamn hot. :-O Alot of laughs, 3.5/5

Just got back from seeing this. I'm not a huge fan of Will Ferrell but this movie was hilarious. Most of was gay jokes but it was very entertaining and I am so in love with Jenna Fisher. She is the ultimate girl next door. b+

I had low expectations of this movie but I've seen it three times now (twice on a plane) and it does not disappoint. Not quite Old School caliber, but good.
