Who's your favorite Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde?
Discounting the comic-induced Van Helsing and LXG versions, (And David Hasslehoff)
which actor (And film) do you perfer as your definitive Jekyll & Hyde?
I still have to go with the award-winning '32 version with March. It really is too bad that this film couldn't have been an addition to Universal's monster-line otherwise this innovative classic would be a little better well-known.
One factor that I love about it is how grotesque and nasty Hyde gets with each transformation. Not just in his physical appearance, but towards the end of the film, Hyde changes from a chatty and manipulative devil to just a mindless,destructive monster. Something so dark and tragic that wasn't quite captured in other filmed versions.
