Not sure if these pics were already posted, haven't read the whole thread, but they're new to me.

trailer has been floating around for a while...and it seems that most people are not impressed....however most of those people will still see it, and then come to the internet to bitch about it.

myself included

You know what, watching the old television show along with other old cartoons I watched I have to wonder what the fuck I was on or if I was just a stupid kid because I don't see how I could have liked it for anything more than "OH COOL, IT'S ROBOTS TRANSFORMING FROM CARS!"

I have the same stance on the movie now. The story may suck ass. It may be a Bay piece of shit. But it's atleast going to be a popcorn flick and really, that's all I'm asking from this. The latest trailer atleast gave me that from it.

So yeah, it may be filled with tribal tattoo inspired robots, but you know what, I'll take a second helping of this on my plate.

Man, that looks like it's going to suck hard. I'm going to have to see it though, just for my childhood love of the Transfomers.

why would you want to call it off? It doesn't look that bad even if you dont like Micheal Bay, Looks pretty sweet to me.

What a surpise, the elitest fans hate the new trailer. Besides stating the obvious, the bots don't look like their original counterparts, what's so bad about the trailer? Even though the bots don't look the same, they still look awesome.

Special effects looks great, some cool shots, big ass battles, what more do you want from a Transformers movie?

Special Effects loks really great but i think this will be a stupid movie (and i'm not a transformers fan from the '80s).

Maybe they should've done (I can't believe I'm saying this) a CGI movie.

Say hello to my most anticipated movie of 2007.

The movie looks far better than I thought it would. Awesome.

It looked like everything was on a soundstage. It didn't have the scope that I expected.

And when they show Prime transforming, parts seem to be appearing out of nowhere. I know that happened in the old cartoon, but wasnt one of the reasons Bay gave for the redesign was that he didn't want any impossible transformations?

I think it looks like a fun couple of hours. My parents money went towards Star Wars and G. I Joe when I was young, so I don't have an emotional investment in the film.

In a summer with Spiderman 3, Pirates 3, and simpsons plus a few others of various degrees of interest, this appears to be the weakest one.

I don't want to slam it before seeing it (like most interneters do), but it looks "off" somehow, plus I'm not even a mild Bay fan, so two points against it already, but I'll probably be there opening night to give it a chance (maybe its for the Spielberg producing credit...).

I'm pretty sure Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and Spider-Man 3 are going to be a lot more anticipated than this movie... with that being said, the only positive I saw from this trailer is that it has the guy that plays Aaron Pierce on "24" in it lol. My expectations aren't very high for this, and I"ll probably wait for it to come to a $1.50 theater.

P.S. - I am a Transformers fan from the 80's.

I bet the full trailer will go into detail about the Autobot/Decepticon storyline.

This was basically a teaser to hype things up.

Direct Download to HD Trailer (720P) (I think that's it, but it needs to be renamed to .mov instead of .dll)

Posted more for my benefit, the site was slow as crap.

Ok, I grew up loving the G1 Transformers and when I first got word of this movie being made, I was totally pumped!!! Then my initial reaction to the first teaser and some of the leaked photos, preliminary sketches, etc., was obviously a letdown . . . I was extremely disappointed because it didn't stay true to the original Transformers.

Well, I've gotten to the point where I've accepted the fact that this will not be a movie based on the G1 Transformers we all grew up with and adore. Now, I just want a kick-ass movie where cars, planes, tanks, helicopters transform into giant robots and kick some major butt!!! . . . see things on the big screen we haven't seen before!!!

While Bay won't win an Oscar anytime soon, he has delivered some nice popcorn action summer films . . . and based on this new trailer, it looks like he will deliver once again! I am officially hyped again for The Transformers next summer! I hope the movies blows up and we see several sequels!!!

By the way, is next summer's list of movies gonna be da bomb or what??? AAAAAH YEAH!!!

My sentiments as well. It's a film based on the frickin' Transformers. Anyone expecting greatness is obviously delusional. Give me incredible effects, fairly coherent story, competent acting, and kickass action, and it will be more than worth my admission price. Citizen Kane this aint folks.

What a surpise, the elitest fans hate the new trailer.
Probably because Bay is directing the film. Only a few directors inspire that much fervor and vitriol from these types. Lucas, Bay, Sommers, and Boll.

I agree, way too many humans. I get the feeling that this will be similar to Alien vs. Predator where the plot and the horrible writing and focus on the human characters ruin an otherwise decent premise. This is all speculation of course.

I still think the robot forms look horrible.

And is it just me or is it still really surreal that Speilberg is so involved in a transformers movie?
