AICN has posted the first "film" image of a Transformer. I still don't know what the heck that is...

Looking back at the toy prototype for Scorponok, it's definitely him in that shot.

I like that he's slightly out of frame in that shot. I'm hoping for a War Of The Worlds (2005) photographic style where its handheld and the Transformers extend beyond the scope of the camera lense. I know it's just one shot but it suggests such a style to me.

It was so funny reading the Talkbackers about that photo. they should all reall calm down about it! Half of them saying it looks like those Bionocles (sp?) and the other half slagging down Don Murphy.
You would think the films budget is coming straight outta there pockets!

I'm looking forword to this movie and hoping the new trailers coming soon.

Guy in the middle has a CHROME M16 (or M4, not 100% sure) and CHROME M203 grenade launcher!

My expectations for this are so low now that I think I'll end up loving it.

I am pretty sure that is chrome, compare it to the one on the left. That one is black.

I just think it is hilarious when you see some one in the military with a chrome weapon, like the military is going to issue one. Sorry, I guess I am one of the few who find this hysterical, but c'mon... it is a chrome gun!

Agree. If they do WotW type visuals then we have something. I wish X3 could have done Sentinels the same way, but oh well. A boy can dream.

This movie proceeds to hit new lows each time I see an update. Please Mr. Bay, stop! This movie will be ancient history after a week anyway, since Order of the Phoenix opens a week later.

I think this movie is gonna be alot of fun. No body does action like Micheal Bay, Hes probably one of the best at doing action scenes and I like how he still uses alot of practical effects still.
