SISTERS Remake Trailer
Fangoria posted a link today for the trailer to the upcoming remake of Brian DePalma's Sisters.

The trailer has some spoilers if you haven't seen the original. Looks pretty lame.

Despite the fact that I haven't seen the original in years, it's nice to know that I also don't have to see the remake as it looks pretty much like the same exact thing and a thumbs up to the trailer editors by putting the big reveal directly at the beginning of the trailer.

Ha! Oh, this looks hilarious. Chloe Sevigny seems to be operating on the principle that "I've already gulped a penis on film, I suppose anything I do now can only be better". How wrong she is. Also, Stephen Rea needs to stop embarrassing himself; having Danny Glover in Saw was bad enough, we don't need other quality actors lending prestige-by-association to terrible horror flicks.
By the way, Ghostface - you might want to point out that the trailer is not safe for work, considering the (fleeting, but definite) nudity and sex.

I really enjoyed Douglas Buck short films (Cutting Moments), but this looks almost a Van Sant "Psycho" remake-same as the original.
I really enjoyed the original alot, probably one of my fav DePalma, so kinda disappointed.

A pointless remake of a DePalma film I genuinely admire. I doubt the trailer is going to win over many as it's flat-out wretched. It comes off looking like direct-to-video awful. Thanks but no thanks.
