I know these aren't such hot stuff now that the summer BO season is over, but it's interesting to see how well Little Miss Sunshine and The Illusionist are doing.

I think we have to start considering the Black Dhalia a flop, hell, the Guardian is outdrawing it.

Nice to see that a new Scorsese movie can outdraw a new horror movie. Maybe there's hope yet .....

Great news about The Departed. It deserves every dollar it can make.

I'm actually surprised how much Hollywoodland flopped. It's made what, $12 million so far?

I think honestly people confused it with the Black Dahlia. Each movie is about some kind of murder investigation in California and it's set in the 40's or 50's or whenever. I think because neither looked really interesting no one went to see them.

That and the fact that Affleck is box office poison.

I really thought that Employee of the Month would have posted a better number, but after seeing it I can honestly say it didn't deserve a dime.

Warners had added about 200 screens to Superman Returns the past few weeks. It is now at about $199.4 million. Should cross the $200 million line after this weekend. Too bad it took about 110 days to do it. But it did damn it!
