DVD Talk review of 'The Guardian'
I read Brian Orndorf's DVD review of The Guardian at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=24004 and...
This was a fantastic movie and I am surprised that this person had such negative comments about it! This is one of the best movies my husband and I have seen in a VERY long time (as the theatres have had awful selections of late, believe me!)I have no idea what he is talking about when he says to "rent it" ...it is a big screen movie from start to finish! It needs the big screen for a first viewing - it would not have the same impact otherwise, trust me. In addition to great visual stimulation, it had humor, sadness, grief, joy and an all-around good feeling about it. I would say one MUST see it!
