It's ok; I can only think of one scene towards the end with Doctor Doom that wouldn't be appropriate.

kids-in-mind (don't know their politics) scores on sex/violence/profanity...
http://kids-in-mind.com/f/fantasticf...lversurfer.htm

I go there because they are very explicit on what violence is in a movie, so if there's something I don't want to pay to see, I can still read what I missed, for example, this is a scene from a different movie, but I will spoiler tag it --
Spoiler:
A woman chases a boy who has stolen her purse, she trips in thick woods, another woman approaches her, cuts her head off and the boys play soccer with the victim's head (we see blood spurting from the neck wound and blood on the neck of the severed head).

...so now I don't need to see that movie!

There should be some kind of organization that views films and then gives them ratings based on their age appropriateness.

Well, we can dream.

that's exactly what the guy is doing. he's checking to see if a PG movie is okay for his 5 yr. old....."PG"...parental guidance, "This is a film which clearly needs to be examined by parents before they let their children attend." (from MPAA definition).

so right on, dad. don't be one of those idiot parents who drags his 5 yr to Grindhouse because the kid "sees so much violence already on TV at home."

Thanks for the input guys.

We are going tonight (only free night this week) so we should know in a few hours, LOL.

I appreciate the comments. We try to be as careful as we can about what the kids watch. Sadly I think many commercials that pop on during shows we are watching are way worse than any of the shows themselves. We've never had a problem with our kids with this stuff and I want to keep it that way.

Thanks again.

Greg
