So I'm curious...is there ANY indication that folks who can't get to an IMAX will get to see the prologue, or are we just out of luck?
BTW, I'm also fighting the urge to wait until Sunday (or Monday) to see the official trailer.
Can't wait!

I LOVE the why so serious posters - makes me want to watch the first one again - what a great line.
Trailer was excellent - I take back my bad thoughts about Ledger.
Here's hoping for some cool fight scenes

The joker looks extremely demented. The way he blinked and looks at the camera you can he is tell is seriously disturbed and also the way he says * like me * in the beginning it fits him perfectly.

I just saw The Dark Knight Prologue at the IMAX and in one word it was INCREDIBLE! Even though I read the description on here of the prologue it was still amazing and it made I Am Legend look like crap (which isn't that hard to do by the way). It totally exceeded my expectations and I still can't get over how great it was!

listen... i love Nicholson... but from the looks of it, Heath Ledger is NAILING the role as the The Joker. i love Bale as Batman, but Ledger is going to steal the show this summer. i have NEVER been more excited for a Batman movie in all my life.

I thought the prologue was very decent and loved the final bit with William Fichtner. Ledger was great in it and it was really well shot (and in true IMAX format no less!). Can't wait for the movie. I'll be seeing I Am Legend again today in standard to check out the trailer - started to watch an online version but the quality was too shitty to finish.

This morning I saw the 6 minute TDK clip playing in front of the Imax showing of I Am Legend, and let me just get this off my chest:
HOLY SHIT!!!
I so want to see the rest of TDK NOW, damnit!!!
There's a Michael Mann quality to how this opening sequence of TDK opens, and it just leaves you wanting more. Although TDK's OAR will most likely be like BB, the OAR for the preview on Imax is strictly 4x3, which is a totally immersive viewing experience for those 6 minutes or so of cinematic goodness.
Now, was it worth $14 for the Imax ticket, maybe not so much because IAL wasn't all that enjoyable, so maybe you catch the extended TDK preview elsewhere on the net, but the Imax viewing experience can't be replicated easily.

Wow. That trailer was absolutely insane. In the best possible way. My most anticipated movie ever.

Fantastic trailer. I cannot wait until Summer 2008. I think this will do even better than Batman Begins. I think Ledger will blow away Nicholson's Joker.
