You know I LOVED 1 & 2, and I was dying to see the trailer since I first heard about it earlier this week, but I just didn't care for it for some reason. It just didn't make a lot of sense to me.

Hopefully the other 149 minutes of the movie will fill in some of those gaps

Wow. I wondered when there would be at least a seim-negative view of one of the best teasers ever. Can't say I'm surprised though. Not matter how great something is there will be someone to think otherwise. Afterall, there are people who actually think Jessica Alba is ugly. What can you do?

Whoa. I know it's Superman's week, but damn. This looks amazing. And maybe they actually pulled off a way to make the Venom story work without Secret Wars and other nonsense that won't play well onscreen.

All I can say to those shots of Harry on the glider is that I don't think he's really going for a full on Green Goblin costume at that point. I think basically he's more in that "i'm going to use all of my dad's equipment to kick Peter's ass" mode. What's on his head in that shot looks more to me like just some pair of night vision goggles than a mask, and that shot later of him going to hit Peter he's not wearing anything over his face at all. And while we're on the subject, I'm more interested in that shot of Harry with the pumpkin bomb going off right next to his face in what looks to be one of his father's secret hideouts. Who's throwing that? Maybe they are going to go with the comic and have someone else find the goblin's lair and use the equipment to become Hobgoblin. Any thoughts?

I really shouldn't have watched this, because now I'm dying to see the whole movie, and it's still 10/11 months away. D'oh! It looks fucking awesome.

I'd say it's more crap that's going on in his mind. His dead father is probably throwing them at him or something, or maybe an evil version of himself. Let's face it, the kid's got a few screws loose...

from me. They intend to have us like crazy by the time this comes out don't they? As I am sure they will have another teaser around Christmas and then the full trailer around mid-March or early April.

Well i'll say it's the best teaser for a Spidey film so far... but I've learned to keep my hopes in check for these films... I'm just not as hot on em as most. Not crazy about Harry/Goblin stuff... hopefully he just uses the equipment and doesn't do the Power Rangers alter ego thing...

Judging from this teaser, I think this movie may just setup Venom, but he wont be in it. Do you really think this movie needs three bad guys? Sandman, Green Goblin, and Venom? The new Green Goblin glider does pretty much look like a snowboard, but it flies like a glider. Thank goodness for that.
