I guess he was implying that his country didn't like Jews.

I love the neighbour bit...hilarious... He is my neighbour Mushutantu Yakbai. He is pain in my assholes. I get window from a glass, he must get window from a glass. I get a step, he must get a step. I get a clock radio, he can not afford! GREAT SUCCESS!

first 4 minutes and deleted scenes
the deleted scenes are hilarious. I can't imagine how hilarious the film is if these were the ones that got cut.

Though it looks like Fox wants to build a word of mouth reaction to this. May only be getting an 800 screen opening on November 3rd even though it has had a lot of advertisement.

Initial release on 800 Screens Nationwide

The much anticipated film will premier on 800 screens in the U.S. and Canada on November 3, 2006, stepping up incrementally in the ensuing weeks as word-of-mouth spreads by its highly influential core-audience.
"The reaction to this movie has been incredible and we know that the word-of- mouth will be excellent," said Bruce Snyder, Twentieth Century Fox President of Distribution, "Not only is there an existing audience that can't wait to see the film, what we have here is movie with an incredible amount of playability. I think the clips and the first 4 minutes are amusing, but I'm not finding it gut bustingly funny. I like this type of humor, though. Those things just aren't really doing it for me.
However, i've heard so much great stuff about the movie that i'll definitely be seeing it.

Sacha Baron Cohen, in the guise of his movie persona, Kazakhstani journalist Borat, has attended the London premiere of his movie, Borat: Cultural Learning's of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, addressing the awaiting rain-soaked crowd as "gentlemen and prostitutes." As he stepped from a mule-drawn cart, he remarked, "After this I stay in a hotel in Kings Cross, you must come and join me. We will all drink, wrestle with no clothes on and shoot dogs from the window." Later, speaking with reporters, he said, "I have come here with Bilak, my 11 year old son, his wife and their child, and we are hoping maybe to put some chocolate make-up on the child's face and sell him to Madonna. I am hoping that Madonna will be a very good father for it." Such outrageous malaprops continue to garner considerable free publicity for the movie, but earlier this week, 20th Century Fox slashed the number of theaters in which it plans to open Borat domestically to 800 from more than 2000, saying that Middle America has yet to become aware of the character. The film opens on Nov. 2 in the U.S. (and the U.K.).

I think I should see this movie with a big audience. I usually like late shows with only a few people but this seems like something that needs to be shared with others.

Borat will sing "You Be My Wife" on Conan on Wednesday and I think he will be on The Daily Show on Thursday. I wonder what will happen when he finds out Stewart is a Jew.

According to his myspace page, the Conan Musical appearance is Friday November 3...but Conan's page proclaims that Borat is on tonight...I'm confused!

Here is a cool look behind Sacha Baron Cohen's career. It has a lot of early footage of all three of his characters, and stuff from his career before he created Ali G, Borat, and Bruno:
Ali G: Before He Was Massiv - Part I
Ali G: Before He Was Massiv - Part II
Ali G: Before He Was Massiv - Part III
And also this:
Borat on the Jonathan Ross Show - Part I

Well, this sucks. My theater isn't getting this, at least not tomorrow. In fact, Box Office Mojo is reporting this will be opening on a miniscule 837 screens. Of course, the site has it listed as being on 2200 screens next week. I've heard of limited releases and expansions, but this is a really strange way of doing it and an odd film to try that approach with.
