Yes, but my point is that it's not like Lex Luthor has been running around other films. This film is meant to restart the franchise, it would only make sense to have Lex Luthor. Yes, Batman Begins didn't have the Joker, but in the context of the story, having the villain it did made sense.

No, no Gilbert Gottfried in any way, shape, or form!

Well, the lineup of Alicia Silverstone as supergirl, Arnold Swartzenegger as Braniac, Jim Carrey as Toyman and Uma Thurmas as Maxima would be friggin awesome.

Hmmm you're right about the original w/curtains that open.... I don't believe the new one has the curtains. If I had remembered, I would've looked for it.

Don't let anyone spoil anything for you: just watch it. Just trust me when I say that if you had any doubts about how good the movie might be, just watching the opening credits will get you pumped up for the rest of the movie. People in the theater were literally cheering throughout the whole opening. I can't wait to see it.

oh yeah definitely... to restart the franchise, why not go with the logical choice... but i dont want to see him in the next movies
