Amazing how much emphasis is given to Jessica Alba in her outfit. Would you rather see a lot of comic book action or a five minute shot of her bending over in front of the camera in her suit?

Is Galactus supposed to be in this movie too? I don't see how they could introduce Silver Surfer without also having Galactus since they are so closely intertwined. Maybe the end of the movie will be a cliffhanger with the arrival of Galactus, and the third movie will be about him?
I wonder what the nutritional value of Earth would be?
Silver Surfer: "Master, I cannot allow you to consume Earth."
Galactus: "Why not, my herald?"
Silver Surfer: "It is way too high in saturated fat."
Galactus: "Dammit. Well, go scope out Mars. Hopefully it won't be a planet full of fatasses."

the teaser sounds pretty cool, the review said it contains more action then the entire first film
"The "Fantastic Four 2" teaser premieres in cinemas early Friday and online later that night, but for now 'Jeff' over at Undertaker's Lounge has provided a well penned description of it below:
"Much like the trailer for last summer's "The Devil Wears Prada", the cool approach that Fox has taken with this is to show a single scene - or at least an extended portion of a scene, as opposed to the usual barrage of quick cuts associated with action trailers.
We start at the wedding of Sue and Reed, with actor (and comic book fan) Brian Posehn as the preacher. Suddenly a silver streak splits through the sky. Reed directs Johnny to flame on and follow the object. The rest of the teaser is a high speed chase between Johnny and the Surfer.
We see the Surfer trying to shake Johnny off by using a power not seen in the comics - not to my knowledge, at least - wherein he's able to phase through solid objects (like the X-Men's Kitty Pryde or Marvel's android character The Vision). We see the Surfer phase through buildings and vehicles in an effort to outrace Johnny's pursuit. When that finally fails, the Surfer simply turns and grabs Johnny by the neck - stopping him cold.
The Surfer then wordlessly flies them both to the outer reaches of the atmosphere where the lack of oxygen snuffs out Johnny's flame. The Surfer then releases Johnny, letting him plummet to the Earth as the title card slams onto the screen - and the wait for next summer just got that much longer/ In less than a minute and a half, this teaser delivered more comic book action than the entire first film"."

"Well, I can't actually show him - but I've just seen the Fantastic Four 2 teaser and I can say that every comic geek will soon be busting a nut over this. I know a lot of people had issues with the first film, or outright bashed it, but I thought it was a decent, if under whelming, introduction to the characters - much in line with the first X-Men movie. So my expectations for the sequel were moderate - stoked mostly by the thought of seeing one of Marvel's great cosmic icons in live action. Now having seen the teaser, my expectations for the film have been considerably raised. This is one of the best trailers I've seen lately - and there's been quite a few kick-ass ones in recent weeks. I'll describe it in the following two paragraphs - so skip to the end of the post if you want to see it fresh for yourself on prints of Night at the Museum this weekend. "
" In less than a minute and a half, this teaser delivered more comic book action than the entire first film so I'd say that bodes well for FF2 to make the same leap in quality as X-Men 2 and Spider-Man 2. The Surfer looks incredible, and yes, I know this wasn't horror news but I hope you'll agree that it was way too cool not to rave about. "
Cant wait for the Teaser

I will see it, but I didnt like the first one at all. Not getting any hopes up here. X Men 1 may have been slightly underwhelming, but it worked well. I left the theater pleased.
And I betcha they F up Galactus. In fact, I thought that and Silver Surfer were being developed originally as a separate films - which is a really dumb idea in itself.

Wow.
Not only does it sound like it totally kicks ass, doing it in this format is almost like getting an apology for the general crappiness of the first film.
Can't wait.

Lately, I find myself looking forward to the sequels of Marvel films instead of the original film itself. I disliked Spider-Man & nearly fell asleep during X-Men but LOVE their sequels. After watching Fantastic Four, I thought "FF2 is gonna be great!" Didn't even register the first film at all.
I'm also looking forward to Ghost Rider 2 and Iron Man 2.

hmmmmm... I'm not happy with the liberties they're taking so far... Silver Surfer phasing thru objects? Weird.
And anyway, I thought the Surfer can outrun Johnny effortlessly. Doesn't his board go at the speed of light?

The Surfer can rearrange the molecules of matter to create other configurations and can even directly transmute elements.

Went to see A Night in the Museum, hoping to catch the teaser, and they had a problem so they were 25 minutes behind, so when They let us in the theater they skipped the previews and went straight to the movie, Movie was pretty good though
