Unless they can capitalize on Cruise's COCKY persona and work that into some sort of script about redemption I say screw Cruise.

Well, your question was, do WE want to see him do it. And I do. And unless you meant the queen's we, I presume you meant the people in the forum. So that would include me.

You're right, Freddie Mercury would have made a FANTASTIC Tony Stark

Cruise is too short - plus, I wonder if he realizes that Ironman can't get out of the suit.

Iron Man to be played by ......Justin Timberlake!??!!??

According to several news sites on the internet Justin Timberlake is going to play the part of super-hero Iron Man.

Here are several links to news.

I hope this turns out to be a rumor.

I don't mind Timberlake, and won't jump on the "it's Justin, so it MUST suck" wagon, especially if its a project that he's a fit for. That said, Timberlake is far from Tony Stark. Not old enough, can't picture him with the 'stache. No way.

Tony Stark cannot be played by a young actor.

I've always felt there is one person perfect for Iron Man (at least that is who I would cast).

The man, the myth, the legend. . .

He already has a drink in his hand, you pust a mustache on him, & you have the perfect tony Stark.

As long as they capitalize on him as an alcoholic, I'll be okay with Juistin.

That's a pretty good choice.

ANYONE but Timberlake. Nor would I have a problem with jumping on the "it's Justin, so it MUST suck" wagon.

I'm just waiting for it to pass my way again.

'sides, won't he be too busy playing Jimmy Olsen in the new Superman movie?
