But yes, Wes' commercial was great. Really reminded me of Rushmore more than any of this other films.

A .357 with a bayonet - that is genius. The fact that the guy had a conceptual drawing for it about five paces afterwards - beyond genius.
By the way, the helicopter shot bit is actually a reference to something that happened on the set of Rushmore. Anderson wanted to do this helicopter shot, and the producers said no way, and it was tearing Anderson apart. Eventually Bill Murray wrote Anderson a personal check for the amount of the shot so he could do it. Anderson later changed his mind and gave the money back, but I'm amazed they referenced that in the commercial.

That M. Night commercial was good until the waitress started talking. Then it became a self-praising commercial. Damn that M. Night always showing up in his movies, it totally distracts from the film cus his acting is not on par with the main actors.
