I saw a preview for this movie on The Constant Gardner dvd. Is it coming to theaters or straight to dvd? It looks interesting enough to see but I would like to know a bit more.

I saw this at last years Mill Valley Film Festival and I was quite frankly dissappointed - it started out okay, but as the story progressed it got more and more ludicrous.

Rian Johnson's new film "Brick"
Has anybody else had a chance to see this?

Focus has picked it up, but I'm not sure when it's coming out. I saw a screening of it in LA a week or so ago and Rian did a very interesting Q&A afterwards.
I hadn't heard anything about this movie before I saw it. For about the initial 15 minutes or so, I absolutely hated this movie, disliking the film noir plot and dialogue superimposed upon a high school setting. At about 20 minutes in, I realized that I was really starting to enjoy it and ended up moving past my initial reservations and really loving it.
After I left the theatre, I was already looking forward to catching it again!

Eh, I had a chance to see this back in October at the Austin Film Festival but chose to sit it out. I'm still kicking myself for that, but it showed at Sundance more than a year ago so I anticipated a release sometime before the end of the mankind. Silly assumption I guess.

I have been dying to see this since the first time I saw the trailer on another Focus film! Any word on when this will finally get out (probably have to wait for the DVD, the ONE theater company we have here is shite)?
Also, any idea why the trailer has been altered? Initial versions have the dialogue describing "Tug" as "a drink, like milk and vodka." The more recent versions that I have seen simply say "milk and something."
