As someone who has seen four movies on the list, there is no way in hell that Hostel could be considered the worst out of the entire list.

Date Movie had nothing and it made me hate humanity after watching it.
Grandma's Boy had three-to-four chuckles during the entire 100 minute running time. Simply put, it was an Adam Sandler film without him in it.
Bloodrayne had some brief hot female nudity (in a random sex scene).
When a Stranger Calls had Miss Belle. Mmmm. Miss Belle.

Hostel, even if you hate it, at least had tons of gore.

So essentially, you are saying his opinion is wrong? In a poll thread? Nice attitude.

Yah. Judging by the last page and a half, *I'M* the one that wants to start the bickering.

I asked an earnest question (which I'd still like you to answer; do you honestly believe that Hostel was so much worse than, say, Big Momma's House 2 and Bloodrayne that you'd vote it the worst movie without second thought?). It's not my fault that your e-spokesman stepped in, copped an attitude, and put a penny on the railroad tracks.

Oh, and I guess I'll save the smartass smiley for another day. If you want to answer my initial question, though, that'd be just great.

Your initial post was confrontational. Apparently I wasn't the only one who thought that way.

Hostel was not only stupid and poorly made but it was offensive. There are very few movies that could ever be as bad as that, imho.

Never said it wasn't. So do tell: how did it offend you?

It offended me as it insulted my intelligence for 75 minutes straight. I went in going excpecting a silly, stupid comedy that I could may chuckle here and there at. Instead I got one of the worst films I've seen in theaters since Dana Carvey's multi-car pile-up known as The Master of Disguise.

I went into Hostel expecting a splatter flick and that's what I got.

It's all about knowing your expectations.

Again...my expectations of Hostel aren't what I found insulting.

But this thread isn't about Hostel.

And it's not about me either, though for some reason you chose me to single out and pick on.

Yeah, because you chose a film that quite a few critics and audiences actually enjoyed to become the first sleeper hit of 2006. Whereas the films Tarantino listed in this poll were actual, honest to god films panned by both critics and audiences.

If you think Hostel is worse than Date Movie, Bloodrayne, Grandma's Boy, or When a Stranger Calls; you need to see more shitty films.

OK.
You're right.
Your idea of a shitty film is more accurate than mine.
Happy?

Way to ruin a thread, guys.

Although you'll surely disagree, check my comments in the Hostel thread.

Luckily, I haven't seen any of those films listed but if the trailer is any indication, Disney's The Shaggy Dog will surely win this debate.

No thanks, I'd let you see the shitty films if you like them so much!
I'll stick to trying to see good films.

I haven't seen a movie yet this year, cause the theatres suck and nothing from 2006 has been released on dvd yet.
But if I had to vote site unseen, I guess I would go with Final Destination 3 since that's another unoriginal unneeded sequel, and the first one sucked. I never gave the 2nd one a chance either, as that probably sucked too.

Boy, a lotta cinematic turds to choose from. I'd have to go with Big Mama's House 2. Even the trailer made me want to hurt someone.
