Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

Movie 43 wasn't good -- it kinda sucked -- but it wasn't THAT horrible, and Halle was just fine in it. I liked The Lone Ranger as well. The rest, you're on your own...

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

Was Naomi Watts really Razzie-worthy in Diana? I know she's also nominated for that other one, but they just threw that in.

Movie 43 wasn't all that bad. Had some chuckle moments.

After Earth will sweep up, even in categories it wasn't nominated for.

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

Sorry to say I saw 3/5 Worst Picture nominees. "Grownups 2" was the worst of the bunch. Truly horrible.

I did chuckle that Tyler Perry was nominated for Worst Actress.

I came across a few clips on YouTube and enjoyed what I saw. It looked about on the same level as Amazon Women or Kentucky so I wondered why it got so many scored earth reviews. What can I say, I'm a big fan of mom trying to seduce her son humour.

Keep in mind that Razzies nominees haven't always been the absolute worst movies of the year. Kubrick was nominated for worst director for The Shining.

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

I see that the razzies must of gotten too much heat for putting Walter Mitty in the shortlist, as it didn't ge any nominations.

I don't know why but this made me laugh out loud! It's like you tried to at least give some of the movies the benefit of the doubt but couldn't go a step further.

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

Yikes. That is quite the list inri22. A compilation of awfulness. Of course I haven't seen most of those, but don't need to, to know they are utter crap.

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

The Razzies have always nominated higher-profile, easy targets in addition to the actual "worst" movies of the year. I don't see anything new about that this year.

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

F the Razzies.

Grown Ups 2???

Adam Sandler???

They simply don't belong on the list of nominations. PERIOD.

I seriously lost track of how many times I saw Grown Ups 2 in the theater.
It was magical.

Meanwhile, the sh*tfest that was called Man of Steel isn't on the list???

+1

The people nominating stuff clearly didn't watch the nominees. Movie 43 wasn't very good but had one or two really funny segments, including a dating skit featuring Batman. It does not belong on a Razzies' list.

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

I thought Movie 43 was terrible. But Scary Movie 5 was worse. Safe Haven belongs in the conversation as well. I'm surprised they didn't throw Ender's Game in there just to be dicks.

GG Allin should have been a studio executive.

Re: 34th Annual Razzie Nominations

Any movie featuring Kirsten Bell in a Supergirl outfit should NEVER be nominated for a Razzie!!

Spoiler:
even if she turned out to be a dude...
