It had a very intense and psychologically intriguing first hour but I feel it went very downhill from there. Basically, the girl pretends to castrate the guy, but in reality she never operated on him. She then calls his ex-girlfriend who he is still in love with and tells him that unless he kills she will tell her all about his child pornography. He ends up doing killing himself. The film works well as a two character play for its beginning, but it, in my opinion, rapidly devolves when it tries to explain why the girl is doing what she is doing and the level of guilt of the man. Still worth seeing for the amazing performances.
