Anyone watch the latest episode of Geeking Out? Smith went to DC Direct to see upcoming figures and prototypes that were never produced. It was a bit short but there was some interesting stuff in there.

I've heard that Hot Toys is aware of the issue and is trying to fix it. Sounds like there are some pretty easy fixes that can be done too but you shouldn't really have to do them when it's a brand new figure.

Sideshows are delayed but I thought that was due to some issue with a strike or something at the shipping company. I hadn't heard for sure if there was a fix. I agree, I don't want to be stretching, gluing or lubing a brand new figure that costs $250.

I'm not sure if the fix is confirmed but I've heard something about they know it's an issue. Shipping delays haven't been an issue for a while. There was a dock strike but that was a year or more ago I believe.

I actually wouldn't mind getting a Reeve Superman. Hot Toys needs to do a Linda Carter Wonder Woman then we could really have the sixties/seventies Trinity (or quadruplet with Robin) :lol:. She'll probably never see an official release though.

Even though I haven't got a chance to watch the series, I will still be buying this. Looks great. Gotta have the 1/6 versions of the comic heroes I grew up with. Hell I'd even buy it if it was the Ben Affleck version, which I didn't have a big problem with the movie.

Nice. Love the way you setup the picture. The symmetry is cool. Not to mention how you placed the capes, especially Batman (89) and Superman (MOS).

Not the biggest fan of the Netflix Daredevil costume (wish it was a bit more like the comic suit) but the show is awesome and a great portrayal of the character. Might consider getting it.

Thanks, Cavill and Keaton have huge capes and you can do a lot with them. Cavill's is rather heavy do it drapes well.

It can be had in the secondary market for a relatively decent price. Around $250-$300ish. Still spendy but considering how much a lot of figures go for once they've sold out it's reasonable in my opinion.

Daredevil is priced pretty good in my opinion. It's $230 but has a decent amount of accessories plus a cool diorama base and backdrop.

I'd be tempted by a Kilmer Batman as long as it is the first suit he wears. I have always loved that Batsuit.

Yeah the Kilmer suits weren't that bad aside from the dumb nipples. Honestly I like the design of the Robin suit from Batman Forever too.

Vader looks good, especially the gloves which are an improvement, aesthetically, from the EPIV figure.

Daredevil is a bit of an odd situation at the moment. All the pictures were taken down from the Hot Toys Facebook page and from Sideshow with no explanation. Someone on the Sideshow Freaks forum said they chatted with a Sideshow representative and the figure is still coming out and it's still up for pre-order. I already paid mine in full with PayPal so am wondering what the deal is.

It may be like the Hot Toys Rey figure which was not advertised with a lightsaber (hilt or blade) but after the movie opened, they updated it with it. It was an attempt to keep the product from spoiling the movie. Maybe it's the same with Vader. They don't want people to know if uses his lightsaber just yet. I guess we'll have to see the movie to find out he uses it or not.

There's no reason for Luke to have a lightsaber considering we don't see him have one. It might be one of those contractual things where they can't include accessories that could be deemed as spoilers.
