In relation to Amanda going bad, was she found again by Jigsaw after she was put in the trap in Saw 1 or was that the test Jigsaw wanted her to pass? I believe it was after but Jigsaw's line in the hotel w/ Amanda is confusing me..."now you must face death..". Unless does that mean she had to survive being in the house?

Amanda survived Jigsaw's "Puzzle", and it changed her. She started to look up to him, and while it doesn't explain how they came back into contact with one another, I'm guessing she found him. The comment near the end made me just think that there was a good chance she could die in the house, but if she came out alive, she would be worthy to succeed him.

She seemed in on it the whole time and her position in the house was simply to move the story along and act as shill narrator as jigsaw was busy with the cops. She pretty much felt he changed her life from SAW and looked him up. This little quest was for her, since the dude set her up and Jigsaw's last deal. She was in on the whole time
