Searching for a movie!! Wayne's world spoof?

Hey.. this has been bugging me for quite some time now. I only remember bits and parts of this movie and I really want to buy it.

As I remember it, it's a spoof of tv shows and movies. The two main characters use a remote control to be transfered(litteraly) from show to show. it has a 'bill & ted's bogus journey' feel to it because they are escaping from the grimm reaper. I remember the spot where they end up at the wayne's world tv show and they get to do the extreme close ups, but instead of it being with the zoom its the camera itselfs that gets shoved right into their faces, and then they (camera guys) put knives, fire, etc on their cameras.. and when they get ready to do the extreme close-ups again that's when our main characters get the remote and get transfered to another show..

I also remember something about them being casted away at some snowy place where they have to face wolves and one of the person that is with them gets his hand bitten or cut off or something.

I know this is not a good description but as I said it's been a looong while since I saw that movie and I really don't remember much about it except that I loved it heh. I'd appreciate any help you could give me! Thanks a lot!!

Damn John Ritter was great in that movie! The DVD is cheap too. I got mine for $6 last year and it has a decent transfer too!

I remember that being one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Maybe it gets better with age?

I wouldn't say it was a great movie, but the Chuck Jones sequence was pretty good.

The film is just a blast to see how they spoof all the shows...and do it well.
