Also, to the OP, could you cite a source saying that Sizemore and his mother are on welfare? Don't get me wrong, I still think it's ludicrous that this guy blew so much money that his children are being raised on government welfare checks...but I don't see anywhere in here where he claims that he himself, or his mother, were ever on welfare.

Pathetic.
1: It's pathetic that someone can blow so much money.
2: It's pathetic that a "leaked sex tape", means he should be making more money.
3: It's pathetic that he is using his newborn twin sons to get money.

Sounds to me like he can't pay child support and the babies' mother is on welfare (in part because she's not getting any child support). Are he and the mother married? If so, my theory makes no sense; I'm just speculating and don't actually have any idea what I'm talking about.

Actors can make a good living just off of residuals, but it doesn't even approach $30,000 for just one airing on TV,
My friend was 5th billed in a 1989 film. Moderately successful movie that made about 58 million in theaters according to IMDB. The first time it aired on Network tv, he received a check in the mail for $28,000.

SAG performers in a particular film get to divide up 6% of 60% of the gross receipts that the distribution and exhibition on free television brings in (or 6% of 90% if it's an outright sale).
There's a formula they use to determine which actors get what percentage of that division, but I could see an actor getting $30K on one of those deals.
Of course, they might have changed everything since my SAG Codified Basic Agreement book is dated July 1, 1995 to June 30, 1998.
This also assumes that I looked at the right section.
