Seriously, if you have the time to research, try to find out stuff he won't sign. Some celebrities have their pet-peeves. Maybe find a nice pic of him and Kelly together.

A career? Seriously though, travolta isn't that bad. Just take what you want, but if it's a book signing a book might be a good idea

Yea but I want to try to not take the book if I do go. I’m just scared I go and they say only the book or something. Cause even if I did get the book I wouldn't want to ONLY get the book signed.

DVD of Face-Off. When he signs it, look at the name and say, "What, you are not Nick Cage wearing Travolta's face? Crap!" Then stomp off.

The protocol at these things is such that you are much more likely to get some oddball item signed if you buy the book. Often, they'll sign both, but one tactic is to bring the book with you and request that the person sign your alternate item instead.

I'd be more interested in meeting Kelly Preston, though.

A full page printout of this pic:

You could get both of them to sign. I don't know if you'll be able to track down the old dude for the signature hat trick, though.

I phoned another guy and he said he's only signing the book.

Of course I could likely get another item signed if I tried but I don't really want to chance it cause I have to pay $24 entrance fee + book. So screw it.

I second the Battlefield Earth idea.

Have him sign that and tell him it's the greatest film you've ever seen and ask when the 2-disc SE is coming out, and when he says "never", scream and shout and slap him in the face and run away whooping.
