I've always been a Jessica Alba fan, well before Dark Angel. She just gets hotter and hotter to the stage now that she is so hot it hurts!

But for how long can she keep getting roles based on her looks and fanbase alone ?

Her acting doesn't seem to have developed one bit which is a shame.

Since when does acting ability ever matter? For example the only person in F4 that can act worth a crap is Chiklis.

I think Julian McMahon is one of the best actors on television - even better than Chiklis.

I am a die-hard fan of Jessica too. But after this movie, I think her career is finished. Too bad :(

i think shes a good actress, id ont see why after this movie? she wasnt bad in this movie at all. I think there are tons and tons of worse actress's out there. One thing that many actress dont have including ones like even Nicole Kidman, that jessica alba has such charisma, that shes such a joy to watch. even Rober Ebert, and Roeper, both said when they reviewed honey, both gave it thumbs down and said she was the only orginal thing in the movie, and that shes gonna be a big star

For some reason, I doubt starring in a film that is going to be the highest grossing movie of her career will be a bad thing. It's doing well...

She's been on the hot list ever since dark angel, only reason to watch that shit show. I even watched honey because of her. :p

I hope it does well. I based my assumption on the critics of NY Times, WSJ etc panning the movie and her performance. These were the same critics who loved Spiderman. There was this one critic from the NYTimes who said "Sue, for her part, is able to make herself invisible, and to generate powerful protective force fields, gifts that might serve Ms. Alba well in real life." Maybe he thinks that Ms Alba looks too horrible to stay visible? That guy must have been gay or something. I am glad that the horrible Manohla Dargis did not review this movie. She was one who thought X2 was a terrible mess.


I am yet to see the movie because I always wait for the DVD release to watch a new movie.

Hopefully, Jessica can start taking acting lessons. Because it seems that to have a legitimate career in Hollywood as an actress you need to be more than just a pretty face. In fact most of the A-list top actresses aren't as attractive as the new younger crop of actresses.

I'll confess that I started to watch Honey solely because of her. I couldn't get past the first 30 minutes.... but she's still all kinds of cute.
