Now that I've seen her dancing in "Sin City", I can't decide on whether she is as hot as Jessica Biel or Eva Mendes. Those are my 3 favorites right now.

Jessica Alba is the Audrey Hepburn of our generation. Like Hepburn, she started off looking like an unpolished actress but is getting better with time.

Jennifer Connelly was outrageously beautiful in her early days, in movies like Rocketeer and that K-Mart flick "Career opportunities". It took many years until she got older and a bit haggard before she got recognized, in "A beautiful mind". She still looks good but not as hot as she was in Rocketeer. Maybe Jessica might follow a similar path. By the time she learns to act, she may not look as good as she does now.

she has a "no nudity clause". that's the difference between okay actresses and great actresses. alba doesn't want roles that challenge her. kidman, connelly, theron, julian moore, halle berry are great because they aren't afraid of showing a little skin once in a while. bubble gum girls like alba and biel don't get offered good character roles because they don't know drama.

No, but pretty much every chick that has won an Oscar lately has appeared nude in a movie at least once in their career. Producers aren't even going to look at you if you're not willing to give it a 110% even if the role doesn't require nudity.

As for Alba, I never much cared for her in Dark Angel (still don't) but she has grown on me so I consider her an acquired taste in terms of looks. ANd, yes, Idle Hands was the best she's looked, followed closely by Honey and Sin City. Sadly, I do agree that her acting has not improved. She's not terrible like Eva Mendes but she's not all that great either. Which is too bad cos unless she's one of those women who gets hotter as she gets older, her career won't last long.

The only bright spot I can see (from a purely horny perspective) is her dropping her no-nudity clause in order to keep herself in films.
