Great i'm glad they start filming, the only reason i'm glad is that i've been asking and waiting for the original Mission Impossible 60's version to be on dvd. The response that i've gotten through out the years of waiting is that they may put them on dvd once MI3 comes out. So heres hopeing we'll get the original Missions on DVD soon. Has anyone heard anything? Please keep us informed if you do. Thanks in advanced.

The writing team said M:I-3 will be the closest thing you get to Alias on the big screen, so take that however you want to.

Remember when Mission: Impossible was about a team of spies tackling really tough missions? You know, before it became a Tom Cruise vanity project? Those were the days . . .

That's why I'm hoping M:I-3 will be more like the good parts of the first film and nothing like the second.

So this movie really is happening? Thats cool. I agree that MI:2 was pretty awful and I'm a huge Woo fan. The first movie was awesome though.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman is in this, so it's all good. This is Paramount's best chance to finally rerelease M:I 1 with a proper dvd presentation.
