Doing an anime Star Wars would be awful.

Neato...Like I've said before I either want to see something done wayyy back in history(hopefully would be a lot of interesting differences between eras to make it exciting) or post ROTJ. That might invalidate a lot of the EU books though right?..unless they purposely try not to..and I was about to start reading SW novels.

Brain Stew it might be awful to you but Lucas is half way there all ready, just watch epi.1-3,you could almost call that all CGI,throw a little anime in there, bingo.

How successful were the Clone Wars cartoons? I wouldn't mind seeing something done similar to that.

I would really like a movie during the KOTOR time period. I have to give Bioware and Dark Horse a lot of credit for fleshing out a very interesting story with lots of great characters.

Even making the story of KOTOR1 into a movie would probably work out very well.

You are entitled to your opinion and you may be right, but a Lucas quote that you previously asked for was provided with him keeping the door open for a new movie. I can see him doing one with no direct ties to the PT and OT. Fans will be asking for it and with the salvation of his last movie (compared to general public reaction to TPM and ROTS) he may dip into the well again. I think he was tired of all the negative press with the previous two films and that is why he was saying no more movies. Money talks and though he has plenty, I can see him wanting more. Add that to him likely thinking his fans are back on his side now after a successful ROTS, I can see him doing another in 5 years or so as long as his health allows it Just my opinion, though I won't hold my breath.
