1) Jean Reno in Leon
2) Tom Cruise in Collateral
3) John Cusack in Grosse Pointe Blank
4) Chow Yun Fat in The Killer (I also loved The Replacement Killers. Sue me!)
5) Anne Parillaud in La Femme Nikita

I think he meant Amidala.

I rank Leon as my favorite, but one that hasn't been mentioned was Monica Bellucci's Sylvia in Brotherhood of the Wolf. I'm pretty sure she was an assassin.

Another vote for Leon

And since they hasn't been mentioned yet, Ogami Itto in Lone Wolf and Cub and O in Fulltime Killer.

Screw that bull about Tom Cruise being trained by an SAS bloke, or some fool trying to kill de Gaule, or some janitor trying to score with Amidala.
How about movies where:
Everyone's body is nothing more than a high pressure blood system? Check
Ninja Chicks who throw knives embedded in carrots. Check
Baby cart with bladed wheels. Check
Gratuitous teet shot. Check
Body count higher than Red Dawn: Check

What more do you want!

I dont see how people can think Cruise from Collateral was a good hitman or a badass. The dude sucked has a hitman, he let a cab driver fuck him over and kill him! A CAB DRIVER!?!? Yeah he's a really good hitman. If you thought he was some sort of badass, then you missed the point of the picture. Cruise and Foxx's characters were both losers!
