Ok, I'm Just Going To Say It - Mr and Mrs Smith Looks Bloody Fantastic

Just seen the latest trailer at http://movies.apple.com/movies/fox/m...-intl_m480.mov and dammit... it looks like a total eye candy, turn off the brain piece of excellence.

Count me in!

It looks...okay. The only reason I'm paying attention to this one is the directory, Doug Liman.

Should be a thread on this already. I distinctly remember posting a nice pic of Ms. Jolie.

The movie looks cool. And how could you not want to see a flick with the token funny cameo by Vince Vaughn?

Personally, I thought it looks like ass--a black-hearted PRIZZI'S HONOR; a WAR OF THE ROSES without the insight. I guess I'm too much of a sucker for true-love for this kind of cynical tripe. I'll pass.

I think it looks fun to me. I'm a fan of Pitt on the screen.

Yup, totally I agree. And I am so sick every nearly every movie that comes out someone, especially here saying things liek "looks like a great turn my brain off movie". I feel like I'm the last movie fan in the world that actually likes movies to be unique, creative, & intelligent & not just "total eye candy".

I think it looks pretty terrible. I like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie but this just seems like a waste. Something about shoot-out scenes in movies not directed by Michael Mann or John Woo makes me cringe. And as for the comment about eye candy, well I like eye candy as much as the next guy as long as it has a brain attached as well.

I think it looks like a lot of fun. Turn your brain off doesn't have to mean stupid, it could just mean a simple, straight forward and fun movie. And that's what I'm hoping for. With Limon at the helm, I hope this to be somewhat witty and smart, and the idea of War of the Roses with big guns sounds like fun to me. Good escapist fun hopefully.

Liman did Bourne Identity and Swingers, so he has proven himself in both comedy and action.

Every movie may have a token cameo by Vince Vaughn, but all of them are not funny.

The trailer didn't really interest me. I'll wait for some reviews before before deciding whether to see it or not.

Doug Liman directed...I'm there.

Has the MPAA rated this bad boy yet?

I really don't know how this film's concept could last beyond one act, but I'm confident in Liman's ability.

Regardless of the OP's comment about turning off the brain, Doug Liman hasn't made a dud yet. And as he proved with "The Bourne Identity," he's good at making an intelligent action movie.
