Forbidden Planet
It's on TCM right now.
Has it been digitally remastered? Granted I don't have a highdef tv so minor flaws are less likely to be noticed, but it looks really good color and clarity wise for being a 1956 movie. And the special effects, while nothing great by today's CGI environments standards look fairly cool. Wish I had started watching it earlier though.

It has been remastered, but I've never seen this movie look bad, ever. As for as the sets and special effects go, I think they're much better than some of what we see now, regardless of CGI.

I think he was the guy that was there till the very end and was in the house with the girl and her dad, but I'm not sure. I only saw about the last 30 minutes. came in right when they were shooting at the "monster" at the fence

Didn't they have Robby the robot guest on an ep. of Lost in Space to duke it out with their robot once? Seems I remember it happening once.
A little off topic, but is there any chance of them ever releasing Ms. Anne Francis' "Honey West" series on DVD in the future? She was quite the sex kitten in her time.

I'm not sure about Honey West coming to DVD but there was talk about doing a movie recently. I'm not sure what the status is.
I totally agree that she was a doll:
