I didn't see it at the theater, don't own it on dvd (but I will be buying it). I don't remember the reviews being that great. I don't remember much buzz on talk. I first caught it on cable as I was channel surfing. Now, everytime it's on I mustwatch.

The story is pretty good, but I find myself more so captivated by Alison Lohman's and Michelle Pfeiffer's performances and dialogue. I'm by no stretch a crybaby, it takes alot to get me going, but I was watching it this weekend (again) and the interaction between mother and daughter..tears just sprang up.

It's a really engaging story.And Michelle Pfeiffer was great in it.The movie did not get that much release in Japan.But I liked it a lot
