I imagine the neck is made of a different material or separated/segmented in some way to allow more head movement.

Which would make sense considering Bruce destroyed the neck of the Batsuit at the end of Returns.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that!

I know he had back-ups, but maybe after he ripped it off, he was like "Hey, this feels way better" haha

A modified suit does make sense. Just curious how it’s going to overall look. Mostly the same or any other modifications.

The Flash Movie: Reported Surprise Cameo Revealed

- June 14, 2021 01:55 pm EDT Spoiler warning: Grant Gustin's Flash is the latest DC superhero racing into The Flash feature film as a cameo, according to a new report. The star of CW's long-running The Flash series plays super speedster Barry Allen, who crossed over with Ezra Miller's Barry Allen when the Arrowverse met the DC Extended Universe in Part Four of television's Crisis on Infinite Earths event. After seven seasons of the CW series, Gustin's version of the character will reportedly make his feature film debut when director Andy Muschietti's Flash goes where "the DC Universe hasn't gone before": into the Multiverse. Gustin's rumored "surprise cameo" was first reported by The Illuminerdi.

Gustin would join a cast that includes Miller, reprising his role from Justice League, Ben Affleck as the Batman of the DCEU, Michael Keaton as a 30-years-older Dark Knight, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú and Ron Livingston as Nora and Henry Allen, and Sasha Calle as the Krypton-born Supergirl.

"This movie is a bit of a hinge in the sense that it presents a story that implies a unified universe where all the cinematic iterations that we’ve seen before are valid," Muschietti previously told Vanity Fair of The Flash. "It's inclusive in the sense that it is saying all that you’ve seen exists, and everything that you will see exists, in the same unified multiverse."

The Flash executive producer and showrunner Eric Wallace previously revealed hopes that Gustin could appear on the film side of the DC universe, telling Discussing Film in 2020 that the door was also open to Miller to return to TV's Arrowverse:

"I would love to see Grant appear somewhere in their version of the film. I said, 'You know what? I'll give you a couple of weeks off easy now.' I don't know if they'll do that, but I'm putting it out there. Because I know Grant would be excited. I think he would have some fun," Wallace said last summer. "I also told Ezra, with open arms, we would welcome him back. I would love to have him back for longer, for a full episode of The Flash, if we can somehow make it happen. Schedules are so tough. He's a very busy man. He has not just The Flash franchise, but other franchises too."

"So I don't know how possible it is, but I do know it's not impossible because we proved it in Crisis when we saw the two Flashes together," added Wallace. "So I'm going to be hopeful and I'm going to put that energy out there. Hopefully someday sooner, rather than later, we will see those two Flashes of Ezra and Grant together."

Warner Bros. Pictures releases The Flashin theaters on November 4, 2022.

Could be cool to see Gustin make a cameo. With all these cameos this has the potential to be one of the better DC films if it’s done right in my opinion. Pretty excited for it.

I’ll take a source being attributed to the Illuminerdi with a grain of salt for now.

Eh I mean it doesn’t sound that far fetched to me. Miller was on the CW series. I would guess that Gustin would be a small cameo, but the fact that this is a Multiverse film it makes sense that he may appear.

Grant Gustin is the ArrowVerse (CW) Flash. Ezra Miller made a surprise cameo on the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event.

Kudos to that writer for banging out a 500 word piece based on a rumor that would fit in a tweet.

Sasha Calle in the Supergirl outfit. I realize she’ll look different after some finishing touches and adding the cape, but to be honest I think I like the CW costume better. Not bad though.

Why? It’s not a secret that she’s in the film.

Someone online pointed out the suit, along with her hairstyle, is similar to Lara Lane-Kent, Clark and Lois's daughter from Injustice comic (I'm not overly familiar with it). Possible she comes from some alternate universe.

And here's a link to a wiki page on her.

I meant the unveiling. I know she was in it but didn't necessarily need to see what the suit looked like until I see the actual film.

Looks more like Spider-Girl than Supergirl to me, outside of the S crest. Pretty clearly designed so Supergirl isn't wearing a skirt.

Yeah, the suit does have kind of a Spider-Man vibe to it. It’s different.

Keaton looking sharp! Tbh I thought Supergirl was for the CW Flash and not the movie. The suit does seem to resemble Superman's (the material), a shame we'll likely never see a team up.

She looks like a combination of several Supergirls, so who knows who she'll actually end up being. Cir-El comes to mind, with the suit giving vibes of the Crisis on Infinite Earths or Future Slate comics.

Folks mentioned the suit looking like Spiderman -- it also looks like the same material they used for the new Shazam 2 costumes.
