Currently no real context on this, but its all over the place right now, and lots of calls to recast:

Obviously you did not get the context That’s not a real funeral.

That was a behind the scenes photo taken from Crisis on Infinite Earths at Green Arrow’s funeral. It is not related to this.

We Need to Talk About Ezra

Although there’s bound to be more to the story and that fan looked like she was already annoying as hell in that 2 second clip, it can’t be a good image for Ezra to be choking and taking a female to the ground like that.

re: The Flash (2023, D: Muschietti) - S: Miller, Keaton and Affleck

I don’t see how she looked annoying from the clip necessarily. She doesn’t really do anything. The clip is too short to gauge what really happened. It looks like he’s the one losing his cool and approaches her, chokes her, and takes her down. She may have been doing something, but she didn’t put her hands on him first at least from what’s seen.

Part of it looks like they’re just playing around or something at first. It sounds like he says: you want to learn it, you want to fight? So it seems out of context, but either way it seems like he took it too far.

I would wager that something happened before the clip started, like she had been bothering him or started getting in his face.

She’s doing some sort of weird robot dance at him. I’m not saying that remotely justifies his reaction but it certainly qualifies as annoying.

I actually had to watch the clip several times because I thought they were playing around too. Without everyone around him reacting to it, I would have just assumed it was all playing (including him taking her to the ground).

And yeah, a 3 second clip doesn’t begin to tell The whole story.

What level of outrage is the internet telling us we're supposed to be about this?

re: The Flash (2023, D: Muschietti) - S: Miller, Keaton and Affleck

Here is more from Variety:

Ezra Miller appears to have choked a woman at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland in a video that surfaced online late Sunday night.

Despite confusion online over whether the video was a joke — with memes already emerging on Twitter, where Miller’s name has been trending — a source at the establishment, Prikið Kaffihús, has confirmed to Variety that this was a serious altercation at the bar, and that the man, whom they identify as Miller, was escorted off the premises.

The seven-second video shows a man saying, ”Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?” to a young woman, who appears to be jokingly preparing herself for a fight and is smiling.

Miller then grabs the girl by the throat, and throws her to the ground. At this point, the person filming says, “Woah, bro. Bro,” and stops shooting, with the footage ending abruptly.

Variety has confirmed the incident took place around 6 p.m. on April 1 at Prikið Kaffihús, a trendy bar in central Reykjavik that Miller frequents when he is in town. There have been no previous incidents involving the actor, who plays a pivotal role in the “Fantastic Beasts” franchise and is set to play Barry Allen in the film version of D.C. Comics’ “The Flash.”

According to a source at the bar, the altercation took place after the individual, identified as Miller, was confronted by a group of eager fans, who were “quite pushy.” Things then escalated, with Miller losing his temper at one woman in particular.

Prikið staff escorted the actor, who was upset and angry, off the premises following the incident.

Variety has approached Miller’s representatives and Warner Bros. for comment.

Oh he was ANNOYED first? Okay then, never mind.

I would like to know the context and get some information, but no way does that look remotely good for his brand.

Edit : TMZ states it's at a bar in Iceland on April 1st. Police were not called, but he got kicked out of the place.

no it obviously wasn't real for Ezra Miller's career, but thought that was a real funeral, not Arrow's or whatever from the show...

I think bigger question is what the fuck were people doing out. I get some other countries may not have the big Corona virus issues but seems crazy that people are out at bars.

I hear the DC braintrust is thinking of booting Miller from The Flash and recasting the role with Emile Hirsch.

I seem to remember at one point (without reading this whole freakin' thread) they said they wanted to separate TV Flash from Movie Flash. I think they just need to abandon that idea, get Gustin in the role and be done with it.

That would be kinda weird since Miller and Gustin have now been on screen together playing different Barry’s on CoIE.

Cancel the crappy tv show that is less about Flash than it is all the side-characters, then make Gustin The Flash in the movieverse.

Jumping to conclusions over a 3 second video? Has no one been on the internet in the last 5 years?

It's not just the video though. There are eye witness accounts and even the business at which it took place has gone on record talking about it.

The guy apparently has a history of outbursts like this around there.
