Ezra Miller Not Under Investigation Over ‘Choking’ Video, Police Say

“Justice League” star Ezra Miller is not under criminal investigation after a video posted on Twitter on Sunday night appeared to show the actor choking a woman and pushing her to the ground outside a bar in Iceland, TheWrap has confirmed.

Gunnar Rúnar Sveinbjörnsson, a spokesman for the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police, tells TheWrap that officers were never called to the scene of the alleged altercation and no injuries were ever reported to the police.

“No one was arrested or placed in custody regarding this,” Sveinbjörnsson said.

Wouldn't surprise me if he will get sued, however... which will be settled out of court for a sum that won't be disclosed. Oh, and he'll enter some sort of rehab program.

There, I think I summed up the next 4-5 months.

As long as the rest of those clowns don't come with him, I agree.

Well, except for John Wesley Shipp.

re: The Flash (2023, D: Muschietti) - S: Miller, Keaton and Affleck

Take this with a grain of salt since it's a site I've never heard of but...

‘The Flash’ Film To Feature Flashpoint Batman With Jeffrey Dean Morgan Circling Role Reprisal

The Flash’ movie is close to resuming pre-production, and I’ve learned a part of that will be casting the Thomas Wayne Flashpoint version of Batman.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is circling the role, but last we heard formal talks have not yet begun; however, that could change at any time according to our sources. Morgan previously played the role of Thomas Wayne in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The return of Morgan is a significant one, as it seemingly confirms the movie will at least partially adapt the Flashpoint storyline, where Flash goes back in time to save his mother and accidentally changes the whole timeline.

In the Flashpoint timeline, it was Bruce Wayne who died that fateful night in Crime Alley, not Thomas and Martha (played by Lauren Cohan in Batman v Superman). Bruce’s death causes Martha to break and become the Joker, while Thomas becomes a gun-wielding Batman.

I don't even mind Ezra playing Flash at this point after all of these development problems and setbacks, if only they give him a traditional Flash costume and pretend his Justice League costume doesn't exist.

Ezra's appearance in TV's The Flash was fucking great.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne/Flashpoint Batman could be cool. I’m just not sure how I feel about a Flashpoint movie.

Martha Wayne becomes Joker? Are you serious? What Einstein cooked up that idea in this Flashpoint scenario?

Essentially Martha goes crazy after the death of Bruce in Flashpoint. She has a mental breakdown and carves a permanent “smile” in her cheeks and turns to a life of crime. It reads better than it sounds. It’s an interesting “what if” or Elseworlds type tale.

The Flashpoint comic is great and is very different than what the tv show did.

If true sign me up instantly. I’d love to see Keaton back as either Batman or Bruce Wayne somehow. Cameo or otherwise.

Supposedly Ezra's Flashpoint script is...very dark.

Really makes me wish Warners had tried harder to make a cohesive DC Cinematic Universe.

Having a Flashpoint movie that had Ezra's Barry Allen skipping through the multiverse and referencing previous DC movies and tv shows (Keaton's Batman, Christopher Reeves' Superman, Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern, the CW stuff) would have been awesome in the context of a DC Cinematic Universe.

Even with the DCEU in shambles this is still possible. I'm not sure how the DCEU faltering factors in to that concept not working.

It still feeds too new and not fully established to start doing resets and multiverse stuff.

So, in other words, WB being WB.

It really could be something cool. It can still happen and again I’m really excited to have Keaton back in some capacity.

The whole problem is that the DCEU portion just doesn’t feel earned. Particularly in relation to this film I could give two shits about Ezra as Flash so seeing him going back through past DC events isn’t all that exciting.

According to Umberto, will be a short cameo as Bruce Wayne. Still quite surprising.

Wow, that's pretty big news even if it's just as Wayne. I wonder how much the Snyder Cut played a role in him being interested in Batman again.
