Horror movie about Power lines/Electricity?

I was wondering if anyone could help me remember the name of a movie I saw on HBO in the late 80s about some kid being terrorized by ... if I remember correctly ... electricity? Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

There was also a Wes Craven flick called "Shocker" from that time period as well.

Starred the guy who played Skinner on "The X-Files" as a serial killer who died in the electric chair and came back from the dead with electricity-based super-powers.

Pulse it is!! Thanks! I didn't realize it starred Joey Lawrence. I'll have to check out Shocker, too. I'm on a 1980s binge.

Shocker rules! One of my favorite 80's B horror films. Great soundtrack too!

If you're checking out Shocker, also see Horror Show (House 3).

If you like electricity - check out Electric Dragon 80,000 Volt

There's also Ghost in the Machine (which starts out okay, but falls apart).

Once the guy from the power company came to our school and he showed us this movie called Electro Juice or something. There was an evil guy who contorled electricity or something, and he'd use little voodoo dolls and stuff to make people get into electricity related accidents!

That is not electricity....it is a killer comet from outer space.

*(does this deserve a spoiler tag?)

I remember seeing Shocker in the theaters with my friends. Great fun for the college aged crowd. Haven't seen it since then. Wonder if it still holds up.
